TEACHING
My Teaching Philosophy
Geography is an exciting subject to teach because it integrates a multitude of subjects and scales of action. I believe that an integrative learning environment is often the most effective approach to enhance the students’ ability to take ownership of the course material. Also, I understand that an integrative learning experience enhances the students’ abilities to work in a diverse setting, to collaborate with other disciplines, and to respect and learn from different points-of-view. Thus, my teaching approach fosters these qualities for them to become outstanding professionals and leaders in Geography.
